Using Chalk
- The University of Chicago Chalk (or Blackboard) system
will be the main online environment we will use for this course. The present webpage is only
a subset of what you can find on Chalk, and I only use it so that you can see the more
important materials on the same page. For scores and grades, or other class announcements and
discussions, you will need to use Chalk.
- If you have not worked with Chalk before,

is a document on how to get started (e.g., obtain a login).
Syllabus, TA, Reviews, Exams
- You can download the syllabus here. A course overview and meeting times can
be found here.
- Review sessions will be held starting the first week of classes. Students
can attend either session. The sessions are optional, but strongly recommended for those with
questions about course material and assignments.
- Campus: Sundays 3:00-4:30pm, HPC 04
- Gleacher: Saturdays 3:00-4:30pm, GC 303
- The Midterm will be held on Monday February 7, 1:30-2:45pm for Section 01, and
6:00-7:15pm for Section 81.
- The Final exam will be held on Monday March14, 6:30-9:30pm, for Section 81,
and on Wednesday March 16, 11:30am-2:30pm for Section 01.
- The midterm and the final exam will be open book.
